With less than two weeks to go (only 3 days from the first due date they gave me), there is nothing new. Lily is still def moving around lots in there and as JF puts it, "she is trying to find the exit" haha. On Tuesday, March 4 is my next ultrasound to see how big they think she is. I plan on discussing with my doctor this Thursday about their opinions on going forward once I hit my due date. I typically hear you don't go over a week past the due date, but I'm sure most people are on a case by case basis and I honestly like my odds with inducing more-so than waiting too much past my due date.
I had another hilarious encounter with a couple at the doctor's office. Some of you may remember me posting to FB last week that a girl pregnant with twins was very nervous about having the twins several weeks apart... lol. This week while waiting in the back waiting room, I was sitting next to another couple who just had an ultrasound discovering they were having a girl. From the moment they sat down, I was annoyed lol. The girl, who I would say is around 25 had an extremely loud voice. I can appreciate a loud voice as much as anyone (I myself can be quite loud), but when it comes to settings like the doctor's office...there are certain tone levels you should follow. Apparently my pregnancy glow has faded and I look as miserable as I feel lol. I think seeing how big and close I am, her excitement faded a bit and she started asking a lot of questions. How far along I was, what was I having, how big is she, did I get sick, do I have swelling...blah blah. Sadly, I was trying to be as honest and as terrifying as possible haha. She also kept scolding her husband for looking at the ultrasound picture at her "girly parts" saying he was being a pervert and their little girl needed her privacy...yikes! haha. At least while I am at the doctor 75 times a week, I am fully entertained!
JF also built a cute garden in the back yard a few weeks ago. We got a small lime and orange tree that are both meant to stay in a pot, rather grow into a large tree. He planted tomatoes, romaine lettuce, brussels sprouts, cucumbers, red peppers, and habanero peppers! As long as I stay far away from them, they should grow :) A special congrats to Branden & Jason, Kelly & Dustin, and Danielle & Chris on their babies!! Your babies are all so precious and I can't wait to hold our little one! I hope everyone has a great week!
